PRESENTS MALAYSIAN CUISINE WEEK


From 5 to 13
September 2015, Parkview Restaurant at New World Saigon Hotel, in cooperation
with Tourism Malaysia Ho Chi Minh City, will present the Malaysian Cuisine Week
for the third consecutive year.


New World Saigon
Hotel’s Malaysian Executive Sous Chef Alan Hew and the kitchen chefs of
Parkview will pamper diners with the finest ingredients and meticulous
preparation.  The hotel’s chefs will cook
up a host of authentic Malaysian dishes, including traditional Malaysian Curry
Laksa, Beef Rendang, Roti Canai, Fish Mackerel Tauchu Bean Paste and Mango
Kerabu Salad.  Malaysian cuisine consists
of abundant spices, ingredients and cooking traditions and practices, reflecting
the multiethnic makeup of the country’s diversified population.


The Malaysian Cuisine
Week is part of the activities celebrating Malaysian National Day.  Besides the buffet lines, guests can take
part in some of the entertainment activities that reflect Malaysian
cultures.  Tourism Malaysia Ho Chi Minh
City has arranged special cultural sessions, including caricature (using
exaggerated characteristics to make a rendered image), henna painting (adorning
hands with henna art), a Teh Tarik showcase (performing “pull tea”) and a
cooking class with a Malaysian guest chef from Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur.



The Malaysian Cuisine
Week is priced at VND960.000 a person for buffet dinner, including house wine,
Sapporo draft beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee.  The price excludes 6 percent service charge
and 10 percent VAT.  Club Epicure member
