In following upon the VBF Board Meeting
held on 4^th October, we would like to enclose the Tentative Agenda
of the Annual VBF 2017 for your information and further actions.

Please be kindly noted that:

1.     
This Tentative Agenda has been consulted with
Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) and already submitted to the Minister of MPI
for final comments.

2.     
The Tentative Agenda is circulated to the Consortium
Chambers and Working Groups for consideration and preliminary selection of
interested topic for presentation.

·        
As agreed in the Board Meeting, Consortium Chamber
and WG will present 01 topic as mentioned in each Session of the
Agenda.

·        
The
main theme, as agreed in the Board Meeting and discussed with FIA, targets to
review the issues and propose specific recommendations to achieve the
development goals by 2020 as planned in the 5 years socio-economic development
goals (2016-2020).

·        
In
light of this, all position papers and talking points/presentations should be
very concise with specific recommendations and stick with the Agenda theme and
sub-themes ? as suggested by the Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue at the
Midterm VBF 2017 in last June.

3.     
Topic
assignment for presentation

·        
Due
to the time constraint, the Co-Chairs have tentatively assigned topics for
presentation for each WG. If any WG has different viewpoints on that assignment
(e.g.: sublet its slot to others, request additional speaking slot, etc.),
please kindly revert to us.

·        
Presentation
topics for Consortium Chambers are tentatively marked (※) in the Agenda. Please kindly
select your topics for presentation.

·         Feedback from WGs and Consortium Chambers should be sent to VBF
Secretariat at info@vbf.org.vn by
COB Thursday, 19^th October 2017 for further actions.
