Korean Liaison officer is responsible for the following tasks to support Admissions & Communications team:
• To meet and exceed Korean students recruitment targets, both for the school and for the summer course, ensuring that Korean parents fully understand the USPs and strengths of the school;
• To welcome, advice, and conduct tours with prospective Korean parents, persuading them to join the school, and answering their enquiries timely and accurately;
• To schedule testing and interviews for Korean applicants, and to translate in the interview if required, as well as to assist prospective parents with completing their paperwork where parents can’t speak English;
• To monitor perceptions and preferences of prospective and current Korean parents, identifying any shifts in their perceptions of the school and the school’s competitors, and notifying Director of Admissions & Communication about these shifts without delay;
• To work closely with the school’s Marketing & Communication team to promote the school to Korean parents, recommending effective promotional channels and helping to produce well-targeted content tailored to the needs of Korean parents;
• To proactively reach out to Korean community by attending key events and maintain good relationships with key influencers in the community, to ensure that the school has a good reputation amongst Korean parents;
• To liaise with leading Korean universities and build strong relationships with them, arranging regular visits to the schools, and an effective collaboration on admission of the school’s alumni to these universities;
• To translate for Korean parents who don’t speak English during parent meetings, events, interviews, and on other appropriate occasions where prospective and current parents may require language support;
• To identify which schools Korean parents perceive as equivalent to Renaissance (e.g. competitor schools) and to monitor their activity, informing Director of Admissions & Communications on any changes in their offering;
• To follow all Admissions policies and procedures of the school, and process all related paperwork as agreed with Admissions Manager.

Job Requirements
• Experience: At least 2 years’ experience of working in a customer service or sales role dealing with Korean clients.
• Bachelor degree (Preferred: Management, Marketing, or Customer Service/Hospitality)
• Good command in English and Korean. Experience in translation to/from Korean is desirable
• Confident IT user (Microsoft Office package)
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional personal presentation
